After a tragic accident, the Wynn family rushed their four-year-old daughter to the hospital. She passed away during treatment, only to miraculously recover moments later–albeit with major memory loss. Devastation turned to relief, and her family happily raised her into a talented and intelligent young adult.
They were completely unaware that the daughter they were now raising was not their own.
At the moment of Olivia’s death, the MurAlde Foundation teleported the spirit of Aer into Olivia’s body for safekeeping. Now, many years later, Lumiir is deemed safe enough for her to return. When Aer’s spirit is removed, Olivia’s body will become unstable and will die again.

During the Atrocity, the nation of Lumiir was losing both citizens and royal family members alarmingly fast. The emperor himself died early in the attacks, leaving his teenage daughter, Azura, to ascend to the throne. When the remaining family turned to the Sacred Light Garden to choose the next spiritual ascendant, it chose the late Emperor’s youngest daughter, Aer. At only four-years-old and with the future of Lumiir depending on her survival, the family was desperate to keep her safe from the ongoing attacks.
The inexperienced Emperor Azura tasked the MurAlde Foundation with devising a plan to keep her young sister safe. Aer was taken to a secret location under the citadel, known only as Safe Haven, where her body was put into a deep sleep. MurAlde managed to wipe her memory and teleport her spirit to a distant, but similar, planet where she could be safely raised into a functioning young adult by a stand-in family.
Seventeen years later, the vicious attacks on Iythara have slowed to a near halt and the family is ready to bring Aer back to her true body. Her return is marked by massive celebrations, but Aer is left struggling to cope. She soon learns about the wave of death MurAlde left in her wake. Not only did she steal the body of Olivia, but MurAlde also placed their members in other Earth bodies to ensure Aer was raised to the royal family’s standards. Many of her friends, teachers, and hobbies were chosen for her.

Aer finds that her choices, interests, and even physical body were not her own.
She can’t let that happen anymore.

Short in stature and quiet in demeanor, Aer is easily and often talked over. She’s generally approachable, but is still uncomfortable with her unfamiliar body, giving her movement a quirky quality. Despite her ordained spirit, she has a plain appearance that easily blends in with local citizens when wearing street garb.
Gain autonomy over herself and find her own path forward.
The Royal Family, with the help of MurAlde, intentionally orchestrated many aspects of Aer’s life on Earth. They led her to join archery club, influenced her interest in the bioluminescent algae at the local beach, and found many other ways to prepare her with relevant skills and knowledge before her return.
Now that Aer knows that her entire life so far was chosen for her, she is committed to making her own choices that align with her own values.
While the Royal Family is excited for her return, she finds their excitement morbid considering the number of people that had to die to make it happen.
She really isn’t sure who to trust or what to do. She is willing to play along with the various factions until she figures it out.
